Boris is dreadful. He doesn’t need assistance.
No one agrees with that more than myself.
However, the view on his performances tonight and other times may come down to whether you support him or not. You’ll have some Boris supporters saying ‘look, he won’t take any Sh1t off anyone and he’s going to have his say and get the result he strives for.’
In my opinion, he’ll get nowhere by taking the attitude he does. European leaders will probably just get up and walk out and he probably won’t even notice.

Boris more inept than I expected tonight and that's from a low expectation. We seem to be heading for more to and fro in Parliament. Boris and Jezza seem a perfect storm of incapability.

The biggest issue with Boris tonight was his lack of control of his temper.
Even though he knew that Andrew Neil would attempt to get him to lose it, he couldn’t stop himself. Twice.
For all that Hunt was unimpressive, he retained his composure.
Boris vs. Corbyn is an almost unbelievably sickening combination.

It may be true that Darroch's position was untenable but that doesn't mean Johnson was right to refuse to defend him. He could have done so in a gentle way so as not to upset the giant toddler.
It was shameful that he didn't.
Anyone who says we must appease Trump in any way because we need a trade deal also has to admit that the whole taking back control thing was a load of bollocks.
We are now a desperate, needy country begging for scraps whilst taking any abuse thrown at us and saying thank you for it.
