Talking of clubs we don't care about, I see that Koscielny is refusing to tour with Arsenal. Nothing unusual there, but apparently he's been offered a 3-year contract by Bordeaux despite being under contract with Arsenal for another year. I thought you could only talk to other clubs in the last 6 months of a contract?

its because they are a "name" ,"experienced" did something at sometime.Fat Sam has rescued a few clubs form relegation....like some on here who are fans who would have rather opted for a "name" or experience when we appointed Cooper even though those "names" may not offer the rightr brand of football Football chairmen think in the same way...plus in Newcastle's case Benetiz walked as he couldnt grt the support ...maybe the "hasbeens" would be happy of the gig to top up their pensions
What I cannot work out is why does one of the best supported clubs in the country with one of the best stadiums in the country (if papertalk true) be so keen to chase after utter dross?
