People need to get this into their heads don't they. Why would they risk committing serious fraud, that could endanger their other business interests. Presumably they have a reputation to uphold in the US and committing fraud on this level would leave their business reputation in tatters.

I don't like the bunch of Yankers any more than any of the guys making these unfounded allegations, but come on, people need to come up with better arguements than this asset stripping nonsense. What I'm saying is, this pair of pillocks have made enough damaging decisions for this football club without having to make shite up.

It does not have to be a fraud, it can be perfectly legitimate and as simple as favourable terms on loans, fees, remuneration etc. common in the Hedge Fund world to extract value.

The point is as you say we don't have owners who have taken us 'to the next level'.

Assume you mean KPMG as the club has never been audited by PWC.

Yes they have. Not for a while, but they have.

Check the Companies House website. Accounts for 2001 & 2002.

I don’t believe they are committing any shady business either. What we’ve seen so far is just a massive vat of unadulterated incompetence.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

He's not been working for them for a few years now. They were his first job out of Uni.

Baby auditor for PWC right during all the fun stuff in the early 00's. Sadly he wasn't allowed to tell me much!

Expecting a Planetswans thread to stay exclusively on topic is like expecting Nordfelt to catch every cross.

They did, unfortunately.

Reminds me of Tommy Docherty getting sacked after getting relegated.

“Don’t know why they sacked me - I promised I’d get them out of this division”.

Sure they said all the loans they have given the club, they charged at the same rate as the bank would have. I'd have done it a bit cheaper if it was me, but still, not "favourable terms".

Fair play he is pretty impressive at the level he plays. Very Michu-like goals and the areas he plays in. Goal celebrations similar too ;-)
If he is 25% as good as the great man he will have done ok.
Live in hope eh?

Nice and positive I haven't bothered with the clips yet, you can't really trust them, but if we could unearth anything like another Michu that would be amazing

I dd just watch it, yes he looks good, a lot of runs down the left then cutting in and right foot, I think Championship Managers will double up on that and send him out wide, but he may create space.

He was on the end of a lot of crosses with the head which could be a real asset, fingers crossed he looks good!
