Competition for Benda in the under 23s?
A really strange transfer - no senior games last season and only 5 league games in Aberdeen before 14 on the bench.
Hopefully an agreement that will see Newcastle taking Ayew off our books. |
Why would he come here to be competition for Benda in the U23s when he's probably Newcastle's U23s 1st choice keeper already?
He's only come here to challenge for a 1st team spot otherwise he may as well stayed at Newcastle. | | | |

Kilmarnock were impressed so it works both ways I suppose. Fingers crossed he does well. We have alot of goalkeepers, but the two senior ones aren't good enough and we'll need to take Cooper's word for it that Benda isn't ready yet (assuming Woodman does start) |  | | |

It wasn't the goal last week, it was his shakiness otherwise, particularly in the 2nd half.
