That lunatic Farage will be in the mix if this happens.

OK I've changed it.

You realise that the CPS confirmed ages ago that the decision to prosecute Chambers wasn’t Starmer’s, yes?

Well, what's more likely? Someone as DPP who had never prosecuted a single case in his professional career making a mistake?

I'm sure it wasn't only his mistake, case should never have been taken to court.

Hmm, given CPS lawyers put in writing their views only for the contrary to happen....

Did you miss this bit? Especially the last sentence.

“A CPS spokesperson denied Starmer was a decision-maker in the case and insisted he did not overrule his subordinates. The spokesperson said that conceding the appeal had been a consideration at one stage but this was not possible because only the high court could overturn a crown court finding.”

Arf!

How many appeals were made? What was to stop CPS at the first appeal providing no evidence, backing appeal?

The case should never - never - have got near a court. The so called threat was only "discovered" by airport staff a WEEK after it was made...

The Right Honourable Member for Monmouth is, in my opinion, as dull as a brush. That’s being kind to brushes.
