Countdown to the end of "democracy" in Hong Kong 12:07 - Aug 13 with 4689 viewswestwalesed

Reports this morning of the Chinese Army moving into Hong Kong - this could get very, very bad indeed.

My personal view is that if it does kick off, the UK should be offering immediate asylum to anyone with a Hong Kong passport who wants it.

I would be surprised if there's a Tianmen Square type event in Hong Kong and that the Chinese military are called to intervene. The Chinese government have control of the media and Internet so they can keep control on what is appearing on the Web which will enable them to keep control, without that I suspect it would really kick off.
