Long Season for Cardiff 15:39 - Aug 18 with 18019 viewsMagic_Michu

Oh my days... they really are atrocious.

I can honestly see them getting sucked into a relegation battle this year... they don’t seem to have any quality at all there.

I think the championship has changed even in the the short time they’ve been away, I’m not sure you can kick, hoof, huff and puff your way to success anymore.

They haven’t even played anyone decent in the division yet and theyve lost twice and only just managed to beat newly promoted Luton at home.

Long live Neil Warnock

Watched the end of the first half and all of the second half of today's game and Cardiff were completely outplayed. Lacked quality and vision. Keep this up and Warnock will be getting his P45 sharpish.

I thought they had already won the championship this season the way certain pundits were talking.

I think they'll keep hold of Warnock but wouldn't be surprised if he walked before being pushed.

It's too early to tell obviously, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're 14th-18th at the end of the season. I think they have too much 'quality' (relative to some) to go down.

Didn't Warnock announce that he was retiring at the end of this season?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

This, taken from their forum, made me smile.

"To think I was laughing when Swansea sold their best players and appointed a young unknown manager. Once again they are showing far more knowledge than the capital city seem capable of."

Early days yet but so far we have been utter garbage..
The two new reading players up to seem very good signings and reading played the way i'd love to see us play but christ we are years away from that..
Warnock saved us as a club but has stayed a season to long in my opinion but i'll judge everything around xmas time..
Go on have your laughs i know i would the other way around 😀

Way too early judge...

Although I’d love the previous posters to be correct, don’t write Warnock off after two poor results away from home, he knows better than anyone what it takes to succeed in this division, he has proven it time and time again...

Horrible to watch yes... but effective none the less.

It would not surprise anyone if he gets them gathering plenty of points as the season progresses, Reading had some very tasty players on show and most clubs in this division would have struggled against them today.

12 games in and we can judge 👍

Yes but they were signed solely for their ability to take long throws

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

The capital city ha ha

Chelsea Arsenal Fulham Orient all based in the capital city.
You don't hear them harping on about it.

But then again they have had Fukc all else to shout about in living memory

12 games? I thought the standard was 10. Inflation, I expect.

Just seen that they lost 3 0 against Reading who were pointless.

To be honest, it’s early days, but I expected them to have made a better start than this and I had them as one of the favourites to go up. They have lost to 2 teams who’re close to the bottom and beating Luton with a last gasp goal. Warnock is a successful manager, but looks like they are going to have a poor season.

AS I said elsewhere, there are worrying sings.

Flint and Morrison are too similar, means we've a lack of pace. Pack not the quickest, but can cover as DM and read the game - once he went off, we lost midfield. Bacuna at right back was ridiculous - without Peltier, give Coxe a game ffs.

Glatzel worked hard with zero service.

I'd have preferred Warnock to have left in summer. Only encouraging sign is that the academy setup play a different style.

We are crap. The only player we had who was capable of playing between the lines has been loaned to another championship club.

There is no football nous at the club whatsoever and I fear for us post Warnock.

I wouldn't say that's encouraging either bluey. If your academy players are playing a different style, then they'll not be breaking into your first team anytime soon!
