"Well, seeing as the EU have repeated over and over again that they won't renegotiate and Parliament won't vote for the deal, 'No Deal' is now on the table...as we won't be bullied into either staying in or accepting a deal which seems to be designed to rip our country apart.".
Is there no patriotic part of you which can see that the British government needs to be allowed to negotiate without members of it's own Parliament undermining them?
This is why MPs are lying when they say they have "respected the result of the referendum",
they need to face the public at the ballot box now.

There was no negotiation.
There was the EU dictating terms and May and Hammond etc. cooperating, that's why most of the Brexiteers left the cabinet.

The backstop is only there in the absence of any other suggestion on how to deal with the Irish issue. For as long as it takes for us to find another suggestion.
The actual deal to be negotiated is to come after the WA is agreed.
If we leave with no deal, and want to trade with the EU, we will have to sign the withdrawal agreement.

Pre-EU we had no hard border. Both Ireland and the UK joined the EU at the same time, both are independent states, if UK chooses to leave the EU and Ireland opts to stay in an organisation that requires them to have a hard border with non-EU countries...THEN CRACK ON WITH IT!.
It will be the EU that implements a hard border in Ireland, not the UK...
...and here is the nub of Ireland's role in the negotiation. The EU couldn't give a flying f*ck for Ireland, they could easily agree a trade deal with the UK and electronic/trusted trader checks etc. away from the border.
Instead they use Ireland like a pawn in the game.
No-deal f*cks Ireland more than any other country, the Germans don't care.
WA then trade deal
Regardless of any WA we should not pay the EU a penny until a trade deal has been agreed. Not a single penny.
No deal then WA to get Trade Deal
Factually incorrect. We can trade with the EU without a trade deal as do many countries.
They sell far more to us than we do them, if they want to damage their own businesses by refusing a trade deal they can go ahead...meanwhile we will be signing trade deals with the rest of the World, the rest of the World who will want the UK business that the EU apparently don't value enough, the rest of the World where our exports were already growing at a much faster rate than with the EU.
It will be harder, much harder, for the EU to replace the UK export market with other partners than it will for the UK to find markets that will want to export more to us.
That's how business works love.
It is not a war but it is also not a deal with a trading partner.
What it is, is a divorce.
We are not happy with what we have got out of this marriage, we are certainly not happy with our money and our sacrifices being taken for granted.
They are not happy that their lives are about to get that little bit harder when we leave.
They'd like more maintenance for the kids they unilaterally adopted against our wishes and they'd also like to set the rules for what we do next (where we live, who with, what we choose to do with our profitable business)
