The point I will make is about the inconsistency of the law being applied. I don’t think Uruguay can have any arguments over the decision and they certainly didn’t at the time or in the immediate aftermath of the game. Fast forward two hours or so and Australia keep fifteen men on the pitch after what seems to be a very similar incident. |
