Currently in disney Florida with them. Would be devastated if I had to stay a little longer.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

If anybody booked with them after all the news and information surrounding their situation has been widely available for months, it's hard to comprehend why they would take such a risk.

It is the same with Norwegian Air. Yes you may be able to get to your destination for a little less but the risk of them going under before you go is huge.

Yes that's right, but your holiday isn't. Either your trip is cancelled or you have to spend far more to book elsewhere at much shorter notice.

The very last TC flight just landed back at Manchester. If you’re still away on a TC package holiday then you will be coming home via a different airline.

Good luck to both the thousands that have just lost their jobs and those having hard earned holidays tarnished with worry. There are absolutely no winners.

Thomas Cook began his international travel company in 1841, with a successful one-day rail excursion at a shilling a head from Leicester to Loughborough on 5 July. From these humble beginnings Thomas Cook launched a whole new kind of company — devoted to helping Britons see the world.

Jeez such a long history behind this fine British company. So sad to see it go overnight like this.

Out in Turkey at the moment, luckily we booked with TUI but sadly many at our hotel are with Thomas Cook. But the hotel is honouring their booking and allowing them their all inclusive status to continue (ATM)

It all went downhill the moment they over paid for the rights to the Olympics - they paid way too much for hospitality and have paid the price ever since

More and more people are discovering that these package holidays are an absolute rip off and if you do everything yourself you can save hundreds for exactly the same package.

Exactly, £2 million quid to be precise.
Shocking when they probably knew the company was going down the tubes along with 22,000 jobs, scandalous.

Advice is continue on to your actual leaving date, we'll enjoy the next ten days. Only sour note is my parents were going to come out Wednesday for a week to surprise our boy for his fifth but obviously that's been cancelled.

But in the grand scheme of things people have lost their livelihoods, had weddings cancelled etc. We're facing minor disruption.

Hey, we may even get to travel back on a nicer plane.

There are rumours regarding its owner Michael O' Leary. He has/had a massive string of racehorses in his ownership. He's cutting that right back to virtually non existent , so possibly major money concerns.

Capitalism leaves 21,000 workers jobless overnight, 150,000 holiday makers stranded abroad.

Suddenly everyone’s demanding a state bailout. Amazing that those who despise Socialism ask for Socialism to come to the rescue when Capitalism fails.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks
