Great artists. Thoughts ? 16:32 - Sep 22 with 427 views

One for the cultured people on here. I'm in London and did the National Gallery today. Some of the paintings are amazing but some are just mwah. If they'd been painted recently I don't think anyone would give them a second glance. What am I missing ?

That's what I mean. That looks amazing, liked the fighting temeraire as well as the Canalettos of Venice but some of them look like I could have done them and I'm shit.
