Trump starting to sweat over Ukraine 17:58 - Sep 30 with 7810 viewsAce_Jack

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/09/25/transcript-ukraine-phone-call-shows-

Impeachment proceedings rolling after Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden 8 times on the telephone whilst withholding military aid which they needed to counter Russian aggression.

The real estate hustler has been caught shaking down another country and now he knows he's f**ked. He's spent this afternoon implying his political opponents should be arrested for treason because they are investigating him. I'm sure the small government, constitutional conservatives will be infuriated!

Trump is starting to look like a squeezed c0ck and he could go full tyrant as the sycophants in the GOP stand by while he trades away the separation of powers for a few more days running up tabs in his hotels on the government card.

Now we wait for Bluey and Tummer to tell us why its totally fine for the President of the USA to withhold military aid for spurious reasons whilst simultaneously inviting a foreign country to interfere in an upcoming election.

Trump starting to sweat over Ukraine on 02:52 - Oct 2 by Tummer_from_Texas

That's not even close to what Trump did at all, but even these desperate and idiotic accusations that stretch reality 10X worse than anything produced by the Russian Hoax (originated by a campaign that DID collude with foreigners to affect the 2016 election using the phony Steele Dossier) are nowhere near as bad as what Biden actually DID as Vice President under Obama.

The "cold hard facts" are that Biden's son Hunter, who knows absolutely nothing about the oil & gas industry, much less the Ukraine, was conveniently given a $50K/month position on the board of a Ukrainian oil and gas giant in 2014, a position he held until Biden was no longer Vice President.

But the $ millions given to Hunter Biden since 2014 certainly paid off for this Ukrainian company, Burisma Holdings. It saved their corrupt asses.

When the Ukraine was investigating the company for corruption in 2016, Joe Biden himself shook down the country by holding back $1 BILLION until they fired the special prosecutor in charge of the case.

So basically, Biden used $1 billion in American taxpayer money to serve his own family's multi million $ interests. This is unprecedented corruption by the Executive Branch of the USA, which has had its share of it in our short history.

Don't want to believe me? Then have a listen to Quid Pro Joe himself, BRAGGING ABOUT IT.

Nothing Trump did on that phone call was illegal, immoral, or self serving. In fact, as POTUS, he has the constitutional DUTY to do exactly what he did. There were no threats in the conversation of withholding aid from the Ukraine even implied; and the only time he asked for a "favor" was when he asked them to look into their part in any 2016 election interference, something the Democrats themselves are (disingenuously, as it would only expose their own corruption) screaming for.

As for this latest, ridiculous attempt to throw the constitution in the trash and impeach the President, Trump isn't sweating shit. In fact, bring it on. This pretty much makes the 2020 re-election campaign a slam dunk, not that he needed it.

Your ‘cold hard facts’ are made up you know. The stuff about Biden and his son.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/09/25/trump-is-pushing-fake-scandal https://t.co/iL0kRD8mNZ

The rest is funny.

Edited to add - Richard Engel, NBC’s chief foreign correspondent has also tweeted this:

“So much disinformation out there. Independent investigators here in Ukraine have told me, repeatedly: Joe Biden did NOT stop an investigation into his son. In fact, US officials, including Biden, were pushing for MORE oversight of the company where Hunter Biden was a board member”.

I genuinely feel sorry for you if your perspective of the world has led you to typing out this pile of pure Alex Jones grade bullsh*t. The President of your country has committed multiple impeachable offences and this scandal is clear as water and you see him as a defender of the constitution. A republic if you can keep it indeed.

Word of advice, you need to lay off the Fox news pal. It's really bad for your health. You're deluded and not a touch totally f**king out of your tree.

But lets go down this bit by bit.

1) My summation is correct. That's why you've not bothered to challenge it. Instead you've thrown up the smoke screen.

2) There is no such thing as the Russia hoax. The Mueller report did not exonerate Trump. It found that his campaign made multiple contacts with Russians and that they sought to receive information about the Clintons. Several members of Trumps campaign and administration are currently in prison for crimes that were prosecuted after being pursued by the special council. The Steele dossier was originally commissioned by Republicans and much of what was included has been corroborated and found out to be true. Next you'll be screeching about agent Strzok like fox news told you to. Muller absolutely did not exhonerate Trump of obstruction of justice and said as much. Trump is lucky democrats sh*t the bed and bottled it by not impeaching at that moment.

3) Fair play you've got some front playing the nepotism card. Are you really that lacking in self awareness? Next you'll be telling me that Jared Kushner is the best person for the job to sort out the conflict in the middle east or Ivanka Trump deserved all those chinese patents on merit.

Hunter Biden seems like a real piece of work but It's not really relevant how much he knows about oil and gas because your attempts to spin this as somehow worse than what Trump has done is false and pretty pathetic. Yes he benefited from nepotism to get his spot on the board of Burisma and yes it's a conflict of interest but it's not anywhere near the level of Trumps crime.

4) Now here's where you're lying or hopelessly ignorant. Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Viktor Shokin, wasn’t removed solely because of pressure from the Obama administration. It was pressure from Nato countries and the EU because Shokin had been so ineffective at cleaning up corruption. The EU was in favour of the decision and the clip you showed of Biden wasn't even controversial with congressional republicans at the time. There was nothing remotely controversial about this at the time. No congressional Republicans complained about it. Why is that? The firing was considered a foreign policy triumph that Biden wanted to claim credit for, not anything sordid or embarrassing. After Benghazi, this would've been a slam dunk on the VP right? Wrong. The desire to push Shokin out was fully bipartisan in the United States and reflected a consensus across European governments, rather than an arching conspiracy to protect the young Biden.

5) There's no evidence to suggest Shokin was actually investigating Burisma for corrupt practices at the time but there are plenty of people who have gone on record to criticize him for not investigating them. Here is what Daria Kaleniuk of the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Action Center said “Shokin was not investigating. He didn’t want to investigate Burisma, and Shokin was fired not because he wanted to do that investigation, but quite to the contrary, because he failed that investigation.”

Regardless, can you actually name any Ukrainian laws that Hunter Biden broke?

6) The billion dollars "Biden withheld"? Hyperbole on Bidens part as Shokin wasn't fired for months after Biden left Ukraine. In any case, it wasn't at Bidens instruction, nor was he freelancing. The policy to withhold was developed at the State Department and was backed by the European Union and the International Monetary Fund. I'm sure you'll just tell me they are all part of the deep state and were more than willing to cover for billy bob Biden minor.

7) "There were no threats in the conversation of withholding aid from the Ukraine even implied"

Whether he said it or not is irrelevant. The fact is the congressional aid WAS withheld after congress voted for it to be given to Ukraine, who lest we forget, have been invaded by Russia. Congress has the power of the purse so you should be ready to impeach on that constitutional infringement alone.

"he asked for a "favor"

There is the quid pro quo, you admit it yourself. This wasn't a favor to benefit the country, it was to benefit him personally and to boost his relection chances. He misused CONGRESSIONAL FUNDS, that were not his to withhold, to pressure a sovereign nation into digging up dirt on a political rival for him. That's why he's being impeached.

If what Trump did was perfectly legal, why did he instruct his private lawyer to take the issue forward with Ukraine and not a member of the Government? Why is he classifying calls that don't merit it? Why is he threatening the whistleblower with execution? Why is he demanding his opponents be locked up for treason?

The fact you see Trump as some protector of the constitution in this situation exposes how completely detached from reality you are. What else can we expect from the self proclaimed party of family values that says nothing about their morally good President who paid to f**k a porn star shortly after his wife had given birth, and then paid to keep it quiet. Get help ffs.

Thanks Ace. You just saved me from a load of typing and did a far better job than I would have. An excellent summary.

I watch quite a lot of US news and it still seems incredible to me that anyone can believe the Republican deflection tactics.

They'll have some talking head on and no matter what is said about Trump, they just divert the conversation onto Biden repeatedly. Every single question. You watch it and wonder how the hell anyone can believe such weapons grade bullshit and then remember that an ocean away Tummer and millions like him are nodding along furiously and getting all excited because Biden is going to jail. Just like Hillary will one day. And Strzok. And Comey. One day. F*cking incredible.

BTW point 5. I believe Shokin has admitted not investigating Burisma. No surprise, seems he didn't investigate anything. That's why he was fired.

As for Trump supporters complaining about Biden's son getting the job. Admittedly it doesn't look great but unfortunately it's not rare for people to get jobs because of a well connected relative. Tummer, how do you think Nepotism Barbie and her husband ended up as a White House advisors? Her ability to sell Chinese hand bags? That doesn't bother you though does it? F*cking laughable.

Good work Ace.

Biden seems like a creepy f*cker because he is a bit of a creepy f*cker. He's like a gropey uncle at a wedding.

Creepiness aside, it doesn't mean the President is carte blanche to break the law to dig up dirt on him.

Being ‘better’ than Corbyn’s Labour is hardly a ringing endorsement, Hump.

I was talking to an American couple on the train a few months ago and we got around to the subject of Trump. “He’s a buffoon,” was their appraisal. They went on to say for all that much of what he had to say about Clinton was true. The Clintons are crooked and everybody Stateside knew it. In consequence they didn’t bother to vote at all as the prospects to them appeared equally appalling.

That’s the same boat we find ourselves in. Corbyn or Johnson? Why bother at all?

I suppose we will have to wait and see how this latest attempt to unseat a sitting President transpires.
I wish Shaky was still around, I distinctly rememeber his pages upon pages of posts where he, the Democrats, the YSM and all the anti Trumpers on here were saying
Peepee Tape hoax - we've got him now.
Russian Collusion hoax - we've got him now.
Stormy hoax - we've got him now.
Cohen arrest - we've got him now.
Stone arrest - we've got him now.
Russion investigation - we've got him now.
Mueller investigation - we've got him now.
Mueller investigation arrests of people worked for Trump - we've got him now.
Mueller investigation obstruction - we've got him now.
Mueller investigation Report - we've got him now.

Have you kept abreast of the Mueller arrest cases, which had absolutely nothing to do with Russian Collusion, the ones still running are falling apart, whenever Judges ask for info from Mueller's team they either can't or refuse to supply it. Most of his team of prosecutors have also resigned.
The only one of any real significance was Manaforte, who was completely railroaded by the corrupt judge Amy Berman Jackson for doing something the whole Company he worked for were doing and he was the only one prosecuted for it.
How she got away with putting him in solitary for a Tax misdemeanor crime I will never know, obviously Human Rights in the USA are almost non existent.
But I expect you guys are OK with that as you seem to think that just about anything goes providing they "get Trump", obviously the end justifies the means with you lot.

Clinton (WJ) was bent. Clinton (HR) was bent. Trump is simply hell bent, on doing anything that benefits Trump or his mates and destroying any little thing that was ever good about the US.

And we should know, as we have our own copycat narcissistic Megac*nt doing exactly the same with the UK.

Well would you look at that, Adam Schiff was in contact with the CIA Spy, oops whistleblower before the said CIA Spy filed the complaint.
So both Schiff and the CIA spy broke the whistleblower rules.
Add to that Schiff also lied and said he had had no contact with the whistleblower prior to the complaint.
My my aren't they naughty boys, it doesn't look like this Impeachment is going to fly after all, not with so many rules being broken and changed.

The whistleblower spoke to staffers on the House Intelligence Committee before filing a formal complaint. Adam Schiff said the whistleblower contacted the committee for guidance on how to report possible wrongdoing. There's no evidence that the committee reviews the complaint in advance.
