Personally, I think the idea is ludicrous.

No other man, woman or neutral can ever fill the shoes of the man that I loved to watch when growing up. Back in the days when three channels was the norm a Bond movie on TV was always a big night in our house.

Heres an idea. How about somebody writes some scripts for a film franchise that is specifically for a woman lead role as a British spy? You know, be creative like? I dont understand why you need to take a male role and then put a woman in it? Doesnt make any sense.
