Mr Cooper to get the best from our key players ie celina in number 10, ayew upfront which has been proved in the past has been his best position for us and with more attacking full backs to provide the width whilst still having the 3 centre backs for safety. Gets the best out of everyone, someone tell Cooper ffs!!!!

Naughton tends to have halflineitis and gets a nose bleed if he ventures past the line.
Although not as good a defender John is more likely to do so to support the wing.

It’s a big gamble to play John if Celina is the left winger/attacking midfielder. He doesn’t do a lot defensively and you need someone to cover John when he bombs on.

Celina in the middle, Routledge on the left and I think there is a case for playing John. Chance he’ll get a few crosses in for Borja and he’ll be reasonably well protected.
