I hope Dicky reads that thread - most of them were lauding Celinas class. In my honest opinion he looks fantastic on the left, he even managed to get Naughton on the overlap. I was still walking in when they scored and missed Rodon’s mistake but despite that he still scored 8.5 out of ten for me yesterday, as well as VDH. A lot of praise from the Charlton lot for them, some saying they’re the best CB pairing they’ve seen so far.
All in all a nice trip, our (unofficial) bus went right through central London then over the river eventually stopping in a very nice O’Neils in Blackheath. Lovely place to hang out for an our or two. Made up for me not getting the train after I’d discovered the 22.45 to Swansea had been reinstated!

I think perhaps because we’ve had such a pacy winger like DJ many think that pace on the wing is the be all and end all. Celina’s sublime ball skills, close control and footballing brain are a superb alternative.
With a good player with a quick brain and feet at ten (Dhanda) and a willing overlapping FB (Bidwell or John) it gives us great attacking options . | |
