Why did he and Jack Bruce fall out?

It was a long-standing thing...

“The story goes when late bassist Jack Bruce was a few hours from death in 2014, he phoned up close friends to say goodbye. When he called his ex-Cream band mate Ginger Baker, he told him, “I’m dying, Ginger, f*ck you,” then slammed down the phone. Baker tried to call back several times, of course, but Bruce wouldn’t pick up”

Jack’s first two solo albums after he left Cream are stupendous. Hugely underrated singer too.

Their 2005 reunion gigs at the Royal Albert Hall were awesome, fully available on YouTube. A revelation how good they were live, to those of us brought up on studio bands who couldn’t always cut the same sound on stage. Each musician really brought something to the group and the sounds made, by only the three, were quite something.
