I made a comment after the last break - Cooper should work with the players who haven't been away to put a well organised and coordinated team on the pitch.

As I said we would probably pick different players but the idea I think is sound.
Suggesting Grimes at left back was down to him having played there last season, John and Bidwell don't excite me as defenders (OK going forward) and Carroll would add experience in midfield.
But any combination that has prepared for 10 days should play better than we did against Forest. | |

Grimes played as a CB against Man City and played really well. In Rodon's position in fact. He could move over and John could play LB.
The idea as a whole isn't bad. But I doubt Cooper will do it. He seems set on his best XI. [Post edited 15 Oct 2019 4:54]
