Grimes was much more attacking today. Constantly took the opposition on in the midfield, wasn't afraid to go for small runs, and didn't pass backwards. Not sure how much his improved game has to do with him, or the ability of the opposition. |  |

Grimes was certainly much better than of late but just about everyone was up a few notches compared with recent performances. Thought Byers was excellent too and tackled, pressed and harried better than I've seen from him before, put in a real shift. We hunted them in packs and dispossessed them time and time again so they were never allowed to get into any rhythm. |  | | |
