Great post. For me it's about the utter sheer hypocrisy of it all. For as long as anyone can remember LGBT persons have strived for equality and to be treated in the same manner as everyone else, and so they should be.
But the closer they get to achieving that goal, the more they wish to show the world they are different from everyone else.
