Because some people are pr!cks and have now respect for other folks at all or
for animals.
They think it's funny, but it's not, and let's not believe that is people having a good time, mostly it's tvvats winding other folks up. |  | | |

I remember back in the 60s fireworks were on sale in August and no age restrictions proper bonfires and it was actually held on November 5th. |  |

And the fireworks for home use were nowhere near as powerful as they are now.
If you recall, we had Catherine wheels and fountains and traffic lights and a rocket or two that went up for a few seconds before making a faint spluttering noise. Next door but one have had a display this evening using rockets of the type that used to be reserved for the public displays - it went on for an hour or so. The dog was terrified.
They should be banned from private sale as people seem incapable of exercising any degree of responsibility. | | | |
