Won't be long and we'll have the threads on nativity being banned, red cross not displaying anything to do with Christmas, winterveille, fear of upsetting Muslims, etc etc. It'll be the same people outraged as well

Children In Need tonight on 13:24 - Nov 15 with 1167 views | Catullus | We stopped giving to big charities and especially these trlrthon style campaigns years back. Don't watch the programs. Give to local charities, look after our own and when tv is full of crap get a boardgame or pack of cards out and spend proper time with your family. I agree with you Daz but getting angry won't help. All this virtue signalling, look at me type do-gooding is for those that enjoy it. PS, if you've no kids/family to spend time with have the mates around for a poker night.

Children In Need tonight on 13:25 - Nov 15 with 1165 views | WxmJax | You'll see/hear quite a few music people who have just released their albums last week or this, appearing on tonight's show. They will say that they're there because it's such a great cause but it's really because they have to an album to sell. That's the sickening part for me, seeking to gain financially on the back of children's misery.

Or encouraging their fans to make a contribution to charity that wouldn't otherwise happen. Millions of pounds will be raised for charity tonight, which obviously is a disgusting thing to happen. I blame the BBC.

So why don't they sing an old song then rather than the one they released yesterday/next week ? Their fans will still watch.

Well as you obviously don't think that there are people appearing tonight just for their own publicity in promoting their latest album then yes, it might take a while.

Does it matter? More people that watch (because their favourite band / singer is on it), will mean more people will donate. More people that donate, means more children will be helped. Not difficult is it.

Children In Need tonight on 17:35 - Nov 15 with 915 views | BrynCartwright | As I've mentioned in the past, the whole evening and concept irritates the feck out of me. I've supported it in the past. Collected Uni Rag money in Newport. Taken calls at the top of BT Tower when I worked for them in London. No doubt, I'll watch bits of the coverage tonight, either side of The Last Leg, fuming at the fact the noble, worthwhile, and sometimes vital causes are not centrally funded by Government!!!
