I got done for £35 for picking my wife and all her shopping up at the back of M&S in Neath by the Neath Port Talbot Council parking van last week.
I know several people that have been done in the same spot doing the same thing.
We will not be shopping in M&S again and that is not the fault of M&S.
When M&S closes in Neath and Neath becomes more of a ghost town than it is now they need to thank Neath Port Talbot Council. |  |

They have one in Carmarthenshire as well and quite a few have been done outside M&S in Carmarthen. It’s being sold on the basis of safety etc, but it’s revenue generation. As you say the councils will drive the town centres in to further decline and decimate the High Street. | | | |

Mine was sent to me as person appearing to be the owner / hirer of a 3 metre tall motorhome.

It does. If I got done for speeding or parking illegally I wouldn't feel so aggrieved, but bus lanes appear and
disappear intermittently, so I didn't choose to break the council regulations. | |

I got done in Bath a couple of weeks ago, stinking wet night and I still have no idea how I ended up in a bus lane and if I had the appetite for it I’d appeal, but I made the early payment of 30 quid to avoid the ballache. Also got done in Cardiff a few months ago in a normal carriageway that suddenly turned in to a bus lane between two junctions and the signs were so high you’d have to be in a double decker to see them. |  |

My situation in Bristol was the complete opposite. It was rush hour and I'd been in the inside lane for a while before it became a bus lane and I was indicating and trying to get out of the bus lane and must have been in it for about 30-40 yards before someone let me pull out. Even then there were cars who had been behind me just carried on up the bus lane so I guess they all got caught by the ANPR cameras. | | | |
