Echo chamber? You know me better than that. I despise Murray though. And the thought of listening to him for two hours while you sit next to me nodding excitedly in agreement like a bed wetting Bay City Rollers fan in 1978 is too awful to contemplate. Beer or no beer. No offence.

St David’s Hall is a cracking venue mind. Saw Squeeze there again last month.

I have no opinion at all on Murray but having seen all the insults hurled around on here he has a point.
You haven't even got to be a Tory, just be someone who doesn't like Corbyn and the diatribe flows.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Have to laugh when an old Etonian describes the Working Class as ‘we’.

He’s been back and forth between the Tories and Labour more often than Maureen Lipman.

Where has he done that? I’m not doubting you, if you’ve read that you’ve read it, but it does seem a peculiar marker of identity for him to adopt and impossible to carry off.

As per the above post if you could point me in the direction off where he ahs done that I would be grateful, because it would seem out of character and an obvious intellectual slip up from someone so intellectually nimble.

As for his general views, I find it hard to disagree with much of what he says, particularly around how the general population are being cajoled into agreeing with things they know to be patently untrue - little lies - and that is incredibly dangerous. Not far off thought crimes then.

He is controversial, but only in the sense that the intelligentia(spelling!!)/the commentariat find him controversial. I suspect the majority of the population would just say "well yes that's common sense".

He most definitely talks a lot of common sense but just saying that probably makes me a right wing racist to Lisa’s sort.

Yup it's very difficult. The organisation I work for is staffed almost exclusively by left leaning liberals - intelligent people - who go along with things that are patently utterly ridiculous, like think that there are a million different genders, or that there is still a pay gap between men and women. But dare challenge people and you will be "outed" as a right wing lunatic. As it happens I do vote Tory as many people know and as I know many people disagree with, but I'm certainly no bigot.

Life today appears to be: agree with me or you are a bigot/Nazi/racist/homophobe etc.

The word racist and others have been gratuitously overused scatter-gun style just to gratuitously smear decent/innocent people. A case of cannot win an argument/debate?.... Then shut it down by resorting to PC-loon, WOKE, lefty-loon gutter tactics.

Words have been utterly demeaned and diluted. It has been black comedy surreal to witness black and ethnic minority members of The Brexit Party being called racist and far-right online. That is the low-life lunatic level to which people have been prepared to sink!

I thought one side was labelling the other side terrorist this and that, anti-Semitic this and that and Communist this and that isn't that correct Wingstandwood ?

The same side apparently made false claims on 88% of its adverts [online ads I think], yet Labour did not make any false claims in its ads, what is your verdict on that ?

Trampie has a point though, for every "PC loon" comment as you say, let's not forget the constant labeling of socialists as 'commies' and anti-semites.

The same loons calling socialists and left-leaning people anti-semites are now abusing Jews and Muslims on the London Underground. The videos I have seen on Twitter are alarming.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks
