Les Miserables fire in Cardiff 15:14 - Dec 17 with 2521 views | WxmJax | During a performance of the show, part of the set went up in flames. One theatregoer said, in a Welsh accent, I thought the fire was a part of the show until all the dead bodies started running off

Les Miserables fire in Cardiff on 19:16 - Dec 17 with 1636 views | WarwickHunt | A mate was in the London cast when it was at its peak. “Why don’t you come - I can get you in”. Not wishing to offend, me and the missus rocked up expecting freebies and I made my way, somewhat smugly, to the box office. to collect our tickets. “Ah, yes - that’s £84 please”. FFS...😂

Les Miserables fire in Cardiff on 20:42 - Dec 17 with 1545 views | monmouth | I saw it in Edinburgh. Expensive there too. I really upset Mrs M by singing loudly rather than talking during the break 'I come from God, now bring me beer..' And inventing my own chorus to that 'Master iof the House' shite. 'Stick it up your arse' made much more sense to me. She's been to see it four times with her mates since.

Similar thing happened in the Liberty ticket office a few years back, whilst I was getting some tickets, a posh lady parked her not so shabby car outside on double yellows, strolled in and said, she'd been told by someone high up, to go an get tickets for the next home game. When she was asked to cough up the 90 quid, she stormed out, without her tickets, must admit, made me chuckle.

I doubt if Lis would be seen dead at Les Mis. More a La Traviata kinda gal.
Les Miserables fire in Cardiff on 20:59 - Dec 17 with 1477 views | Dr_Winston | My niece was a random urchin in a youth production of Les Mis once so obviously I turned up to watch. Was dreading it but actually quite enjoyed. Some of the older kids could belt out the tunes.

Les Miserables fire in Cardiff on 21:03 - Dec 17 with 1468 views | Darran | My wife sold some art to an opera singer a couple of years ago and she gave us free tickets to see her in the Welsh National Operas production of Khovanshchina. Bloody good it was too. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khovanshchina

I’m certainly too tight to get done on double yellows at the stadium! Well that and I always get a lift with my Dad who has a parking space. If necessary, I park in Morriston and get him to pick me up there

I saw Ryan and Ronnie a few times at the Grand. The best I ever saw in panto there was Christopher Biggins doing Mother Goose. About 20 of us went - last night when they bugger about. I was crying.

Les Miserables fire in Cardiff on 21:12 - Dec 17 by londonlisa2001 | Lol. I like a musical. I’m going to see Whoopi in Sister Act at the Hammy O next summer. Although most recently I went to see Agrippina at the opera house. So swings and roundabouts... |
I love Handel too...and I don’t mean Irene before anybody starts!
