I've had Glenn Webbe 's and Clem Thomas's autobiographies......both are well worth reading.

Plus I had Mortimer and Whitehouse's "Gone Fishing"

Loh, I got lots of alcohol, I would have loved a book as well as the alcohol.

The Simoom will soon be along to blow the sheeple away.

I don't get books under the tree because I'm a Philistine and use an E reader. Nothing too heavy right now, The Changeling by Andrew Hastie. Sci/fi/time travelling/historical nonsense. Light relief.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Sounds to me like you ought to treat yourself, mate.

Nothing quite like sipping whisky while sat in a comfy chair with a good book.

You know it makes sense.

I'd prefer a coffee. Whisky gives me the most god awful headaches, even a sip.

I had so many books I nearly got crushed, but I've only got my shelf to blame.

Didn't get it this Christmas but I've got to put a plug in for Amor Towles' 'A Gentleman in Moscow'. Best book I've read since 'American Pastoral'. Nothing like it, of course.
