Is it just me that absolutely hates today and dreads the whole Big Ben countdown? I normally watch it because of partners/family etc...it just feels absolutely depressing to me.
I try and have a few drinks in the evening to numb myself to it (bah it's still Christmas after all!).
I think I used to enjoy it more when I was younger and went out to a pub/Wind St for it. Don't think it's that popular anymore in general though. |  |

It's an age thing innit, really got no interest in it, years ago as a youngster it was a great night out, now we enjoyed the peace and quiet,missuses granddaughter stayed with us, she's 2, she woke up about 1130 so we all sat and watched the fireworks on the tv as the new year came in, popped a bottle of cheap fizz and that was it........
