...in the cellar room under the garage.

It's an outbuilding so not attached to the house.

Should I...?...

1. borrow a Jack Russell.

2. Let the 4 local cats deal with it. They are hard as feck.

3. Phone the council ( they came last year and put some bait down the garden).

4. Try and make friends with it after watching Ratatouille the movie.

If you time it right Bryn, you could squash it under the garage door.

Number 2 would be my "GOTO" but these cats love to play and prolong the agony.......however for a quick death of said rodent you will need a gallon on petrol, a cloth and a lighter......I obviously don't need to state the obvious......there will be collateral damage.......... Bryn.......Bryn!!!!.....Bryn!!!????!!! Do you COPY????!!!!!.......the doors are going to resemble a Raymond Briggs wet dream!!!!!!.....i.e. those garage doors are going to resemble spilt milk

Keep cats away from it, a rat will win any fight with a cat.

Have you been watching Tom and Jerry again?

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Nah they won’t, the average cat is considerably bigger, stronger and is a perfect predator. The rat wouldn’t even see it coming.

I'm talking about your average docile house cat, but ok. Wouldn't let me cat near one.

I used to have a female cat (she was tiny. Runt of the litter) and her party trick was bringing home rats almost as big as she was.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

My grans cat did the same, also tried dragging a seagull through the cat flap.

No it’s a white bird usually found near the coast.

Fair play to the funniest poster on PS.!

Consistently comes out with some blinders.

I am still chortling over his post about Jenny Eclair's '"arid lady cave"!

Just had a check and I thin it's gone. The timidest local moggie made an appearance about 20 mins ago, and it seems to have doe the trick.

Not sure if cats are as efficient as these rat killers though..

This. Get one of these bad boys, caught two in the last six months with it. Bastards must be coming through the empty house next door.

It's probably the first of many creatures that will be flocking to Bryn's to get a look at the amazing garage door.

Expect white rhino, elephants, alligators, llamas and okapi in the next few days.

You do not know your average docile house cat. Why do you think it's so docile? Because it's conserving energy for when it ventures outside to become a hunter, just like lions and tigers who spend most of their time sleeping. A rat is easy prey.

Farmer up by us used to feed a load of feral cats some milk from his cows, they used to kill loads of rats in the hay. He reckoned he was saving a fortune in pest control fees.
