Today he was a shadow of the player he can be, because he played ‘safety ‘ -ie take the safe option and don’t risk making a mistake by trying something ambitious, like taking a man on or sliding a pass behind the full back. I recognise it because I’ve been watching Swans players doing the same thing all season. Yesterday I actually witnessed a ‘killer’ pass that resulted in a goal. Yippee! The future now looks a lot brighter with some good looking additions to the team. But getting back to Dan. He needs to express himself because today he did bugger all. If he keeps doing bugger all he’ll be dropped. Have a go Dan. You’ve nothing to lose. |  | | |

Though he did gift Slovakia a goal with a horrible header right into the danger area. Perhaps it's because playing international football is a form of escapism from the humdrum of week in week out club football. But it's true about a few of the Wales lads. | | | |

I feel bad for James. The Man United fans are atrocious. In August/September they were in love with him, and now they want him out of the team. He's young and isn't going to have 8/10 games every week.
I will continue to roughly follow the progress of ex-players I've seen play, as long as they gave their all for us. James could've sulked after the botched Leeds deal, but he came back, played very well, and gave us some great memories like the Brentford FA Cup goal. |  |
