I liked it.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Going back there after our last home game in April.

Nice place, 3 pin plugs just like here and drive on same side of the road.

Nice and warm, lovely prom for walking and lovely hotels.

We stayed in the Louis Phaethon Beach hotel

I didn't like Cyprus, too Anglicised compared to most other Greek isles

Paphos is a nice town. The history of the Greeks and roman artefacts are everywhere.

Yep the tombs of the kings are quite impressive even though the name is exaggerated.

If you’re going to visit in hot sunny conditions take plenty of water and hats, there is very little shade. Agree that it’s well worth a visit. Also hire a car and go up the Troodos , you can drive through some really nice villages on the way. Many stunning churches to see as well, if that’s your thing.

If you have any interest in history I highly recommend Paphos Archaeological Park, near the Old Harbour.

Basically the ruins of four Roman villas that were destroyed during an earthquake about 1600 years ago. The mosiac floors are incredible. Only a couple of quid to visit.

Clever bastards the Romans.

Awesome, thanks all. Plumped for Cyprus as it will be May and hopefully a little warmer than the Greek islands where we might usually head to. Staying about 10 mins or so from Tomb of the Kings. 👍🏻S

We stayed at the Atlantica Beach Hotel just outside Pafos last year. Top notch.
Adults only. Pafos is nice for a stroll and a mooch.

We were in a place called kefalos, it was really nice but a bit full of old biddys in their fifties.

lived out here for over 4 years in south and near the border to the north, all lovely places to stay, paphos is a lot quieter than it used to be, depends on time of year you are coming out and what sort of holiday you are after

I played a football game there once with rival hotels...It was 41 centigrade.

The following day I thought I was dying.

Troudos mountains are a nice drive, lots of wineries, you can even go skiing up in the mountains this time of year.

It was June last year when we were there. Bloody hell. Lovely food and good entertainment. Nice having lunch in the place next to the sea.
