As long as it’s the woman’s choice then it shouldn’t be an issue.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Hands up to that one.

It’s an excellent thing if the family are able to afford it. It can’t be nice for a nipper to come home from school to an empty house and no tea all the time.

Like everything it’s an individual choice in some cases if as you say they can afford to be a one wage family. It would drive my Mrs nuts I know that much.

Nothing wrong with that at all, or a wife being the sole earner and the husband running the house.

Plenty for them to do around the house see.

Making the husband a hearty breakfast before he goes off to work.

Kids to school.

Put washing on/ ironing.

Hovering and dusting.

Baking in the afternoon.

Pick kids up.

Preparing a nice evening meal for husband and kids.

Instead most prefer to swan off to work and spend the day gossiping

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

Absolutely, as long as it applies to either gender.

Hovering would help reach those awkward cobwebs high up.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

To be honest Loh, its the other way round with me. We can't afford for my wife to go back to work and cover the cost of the associated childcare.

When I was retired I became a house husband and my wife returned to full time work. The only thing I don't do is the ironing, because I never did any anyway but she does insist on our son looking tidy!
Of course I got my occupational pension, we are better off than many single income families so we are lucky.

Each to their own, if you can afford it.

PS, what the heck has this got to do with white supremacism?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I can see that scenario. We were lucky in that respect, both sets of grandparents were more than happy to help out, eager even, otherwise we’d have gone down the same route as you and had to cut our cloth.

It’s 2020, mate. Anything and anybody that doesn’t actively trumpet perverse dysfunctionality has to be white supremacist. Considering ‘the family’ to be the basic building block of society makes you an extremist.

Don’t you follow Leanne Wood?

I would only follow Wood on the way to the airport, just to make sure she really was leaving.

I'd have had this down as sexist more than supremacist but that's where the world is right now eh. What was perfectly normal in my childhood days is considered all sorts of extremism and downright evil these days.

If I complained when a non white person had been rude to me I'd probably be accused of racism by certain sections.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Nothing at all, but the odd loon or troll claiming it on Twitter allows the 'PC gone mad' crowd to indulge in their usual shtick.

It allows them to ignore that the majority of people who believe in equality would not say such things and allows them to paint everyone on the 'left' in the same light as the loon that Jango quoted. Funnily enough, it doesn't go down as well when all Brexiteers are labelled as racists when it's more likely that only a relatively small number of them are.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.
