We’ve got the raw materials to be playing a lot better and more aggressively than we are. There are definite gaps in the squad, but I guess that’s the case at a lot of Championship clubs.
Ayew, Brewster and Celina should be hurting teams. They aren’t, because they invariably receive the ball in non threatening wide positions, or in Brewsters case, are isolated and feeding off scraps. We’re set up too passively, that was embarrassing at home. | | | |

There are a number of players in the current team who we know can play better than this. Who we've seen play better than this. Cooper doesn't seem to have the first idea what to do with them, and the experienced players he has brought in are largely ignored.
Birch and co have to be asking themselves whether the costs of getting shot of Cooper outweigh the risks of leaving him in charge during a major transition period this summer. |  |

For me, this is mainly about Cooper. No shots on target at home to QPR? Lack of courage and adventure going forward. One substitution on 70 mins when you haven't tested QPR's keeper at home?? Clueless. We are slow to attack, teams get back and get set, we haven't got the craft to get through them. Speed up our counter attack/transition we might have a chance. Possession football across the back is doing nothing. No movement in front of the defenders on the ball, nowhere to go, frustration all around.
All points to coaching, tactics? And a man on the sideline who's watching the game like he paid for a ticket. | | | |

It’s possible to pick up good and/or experienced players on the cheap, but you need someone who can spot what we need.
