Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

What's this big love around Wilmot? He can barely be competent at centre half, let alone midfield. He scored one goal, and since, nothing of note.

2 goals, 2 that have earned us 4pts alone.

More than any of our other CBs who have played this season.

After their second goal.

Doubt it'll even take that. After 20 minutes without a shot on goal and someone playing it backwards when there's at least two decent forward options available the disgruntlement would begin.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Lose this, and rest assured they'll down tools from here on in. We will drop like a turd in a well. Few may suggest that's already the case.

I see our manager is at the Derby game tonight, he will be worn out by the time he gets back tonight, won't see any jumping about on the touch line from him tomorrow then.😁

We will be fine for the Fulham game then. He will have spotted all their weaknesses

Sinclair played on the left for us, as I remember, so would cut in onto his right foot. For this goal he cut in from the right. Grimes should have tackled and possibly fouled him. Not quite sure what your point is.

The point is that the coaching staff who’ve been preceded by about 5 other sets since Sinclair was here, and Grimes who’d have been about 12 back then, should have known what Sinclair would do from their not being here when he was. I think .

I’ve given up being positive. Expect more of the same, crappy 0-0 or loss by 1 or 2 goals.

The point is, it had nothing to do with Sinclair per se or whether he "cut inside": it could have been Mickey Feckin Mouse, Grimes should have made a challenge, and Rodon should have made a proper attempt at a block instead of half turning his body.

Sorry but Rodon didnt have time to do anything, guehi got to him after grimes let him go, guehi hould have made a challenge or shepherded him onto his weaker foot.

The main cause for that goal was that Grimes had become our left-most midfielder having gone marking one of theirs (Johnson?) on the throw in, but the other two hadn't tracked back so there was no one goal side screening the back 4 in his place. One simple throw and Sinclair was running directly at our centre halves. Poor organisation.

If Gallagher or Byers had been where they should have been Grimes doesn't have to commit a foul chasing back, and our centre halves can back off to the edge of the area before committing as they normally would.

Just hope our turn up and support the team rather than spreading negativity everytime one of our players tries something and makes a mistake

FFS mun change the record, if the team play well and put the effort in they will get the support, problem is a lot of the time they have been found wanting in both of those depts, hence negativity from the fans who spend there hard earned money to watch them.

Or you could argue that Grimes shouldn't have got dragged that far out wide, because that allowed Sinclair to take up a position unmarked in the hole. In fairness to Byers and Gallagher, they were marking players (goalside) when that throw in took place. Why Grimes felt the need to go out there I'm not sure - especially when Sinclair was behind him. Poor goal though, all round.

I know, I was being sarcastic but maybe it didn’t come across as such.

Despite what Grimes’ personal stats hide, our midfield has been awful at shielding the defence this year. We’re always wide open to a counter with acres of space in front of our CBs. Piss poor positionally, and that has to be on the training staff and Cooper.

Ok so team news...

We’ve got the CB pairing that most seem to want, there is pace on the wing, there is no Byers.

If Cooper remains on top of game management then this should result in three points.

One mistake from Cabango of course and we won’t see him again before next August. Glue hi will be back before you can say ‘under 17 world cup’

Where is the boy anyway? Injured? Or is he where he should be, learning with the stiffs?
