Mal Pope's New album Butterfly 20:37 - Mar 24 with 4886 viewsdeepdale81

Just would like to plug Mal ( reverting to Maldwyn Pope) Pope's new album butterfly.
Received it today ,and I think its pretty good like a seventies singer songwriter feel to it.
Here is a link to the single. https://www.malpope.com/
Scroll down to the track looking for love.

I used to play football with Mal Pope donkeys years ago in the Saturday morning Christian league ( no mean feat being a committed atheist).

He wasn't a bad player to be honest.

Talking of the SMCL it was quite surreal.

Before the game would start a chosen player would say a prayer whilst we all gathered around...

Then would spend the next 90 minutes kicking the shit out of each other. I had the shirt ripped clean off my back on one occasion!

I went on to play Welsh league, Neath League and Swansea Sunday league first division and can say hand on heart that the god squad lads played it harder than anyone...

"Sorry Mal that song is cràp btw"

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

Christian League? Must have been a dilemma for God knowing which side to be on.

Is it true he once said he didn't like football......yet when we got to the PL he was gurning all over the Liberty as if he'd been Ivor Allchurch's boot boy?

Yup.

As my Gallic chum Voltaire was wont to say “God is on the side of the best shots.”

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.
