What's the premise, mate?

"A family saga with a supernatural twist, set in a German town, where the disappearance of two young children exposes the relationships among four families."

8.7/10 on imdb.

German with english subtitiles. 3 episodes to go until the end of season 2. It's one you have to watch closely as it gets a little confusing...

It's a brilliant show.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It's a brilliant show.

Was not expecting much, going through the sets and the wife said she heard it was good.

Very funny but also hits home other aspects in life. The guy who plays Eric is a superb actor.

Talking of Irish, In Bruges is hilarious.

The Guard with Brendan Gleeson is well worth a watch too.

+1 for both .

Watched 'Sexy Beast' on Film 4 again last night. Possibly the best British crime film ever made? An acting tour de force from the whole cast but Ben Kingsley is above superb.
If you haven't seen it and Film 4 repeat it this week, it's a must watch.

Great film. The Long Good Friday just edges it for me though. Bob Hoskins...

Currently halfway through reading The Last Kingdom books so watching the show on Netflix at the same time.

It's OK in a lower budget, not as good as prime Game of Thrones sort of way.
