Watched Unforgiven this afternoon for about the 4th time.
This has to be the best western of all time.

Clint Eastwood supurb Morgan Freeman brilliant as always and Gene Hackman was nearly as good as Eastwood.

Can see why it cleaned up at the Oscars all them years ago a masterpiece.

Watched Hidden Figures on C4 last night. It's about the black women who helped in the American space programme. It was alright and is being repeated on Sunday night.

Just watched "A Private War" on Netflix .

A biopic about Marie Colvin, war correspondent across many wars for The Sunday Times. A mad, but very brave woman.

It must have been very good, my wife watched it all. 😇

I finally got round to watching Scorcese's latest offering The Irishman. If you can get passed the dodgy special effects to make De Niro and Pesci look younger early on, it is superb. Along with Pacino , this was a masterclass in acting. Over 3 hours long but worth sticking with.

Currently watching "Into the Badlands". Not a film but a boxset. I'm finding it excellent, despite some dubious moves in the incredibly gory slasher fight scenes.

I mentioned that a while ago... I wasn't as happy with the final season (story/credibility) - i suspect that they knew there was no more funding/seasons and tried to wrap it up too quickly. I would re-watch it at a later date.

A similar genre to Narcos, and not a movie but surprisingly well produced and lavish TV series. ZeroZeroZero it's very highly rated and on Amazon Prime
