Championship and below would play another 11 games, so 34 in total.
Teams in Europe do not enter the FA cup if they chose not to.
Do similar across Europe, and leagues next season could finish end of April at the latest.

life's a bitch at times, but any monies that we've had from screened matches is ours ,end off fuk the broadcasters ,they've had their shows and wont be getting anymore this season ,tough tits, They got to bite the bullet ,TAKE THE HITS just like the rest of us .I'll wager if this went to court they wouldn't have a leg to stand on because of theses difficult times we're all in right now [Post edited 1 Apr 2020 13:12]

But a quart won't fit into a pint pot, whichever way you look at it. If they can't play, they can't play. There's no point rolling over this season (a handful of games) at the expense of losing half the games/income from next season. The financial impact would be greater, so that makes no sense at all.
I think the leagues approaches is probably the best for now - try to play if at all possible, even if behind closed doors. But there needs to be a cutoff point at which they stop and draw a line under this season, by end July at the latest I'd have thought. They could have a 2 week break and then start afresh in mid-August. Unless they can do some wizardry around playing games during international breaks next season or streamline the cups. |  | | |

Those saying the season should be declared null and void would be the first to complain that approach is unfair if we were top of the league.
Find a way to finish this season and compress next season to compensate. The major difficulty with that will be with the players. As someone else said, how would it work with their wages. We won't want to pay Ayew's wages for however many months more would be needed for example.
You would expect that the PL, FA and whoever else are in discussions with the PFA about possible plans, but expecting the players en masse to give up a few quid is probably a pipe dream. |  |
