A woman has been charged with a number of offences following an incident at Lidl supermarket in Port Talbot on Tuesday.

Anna Semenenquo, 55, from Aberavon, was charged last night with assault by beating, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, and threatening to damage property.

She was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Swansea Magistrates’ Court this morning.
