Mine was a red, knackered, Austin Metro, 1982.
It was on it's last legs when I bought it for £200 in the mid 90s. Needed some choke to get it started and the handbrake was dodgy as f*ck.
Loved driving that thing though.
Didn't get any car 'action' until I upgraded to a Ford Escort.

First car was a Vauxhall Chevette estate which I bought from Swansea Car Auctions for about £500, it was a bit of a dog, unbeknown to me the floor had rusted through and it leaked like a sieve and I had to patch it with fibreglass.
