So where should all the income go? Player wages should be capped but it's fine for the club to spend £21m on another player "in these times"?
The players on massive wages aren't at hard up clubs, and they should be the ones profiting the most since their work is the product on sale to a global audience. It's a competitive market and a short career. But some fans clearly think this is unfair and that owners, CEOs and agents should benefit more than they already do. | | | |

Arsenal were a bit different in that at least the players took a pay cut. Most clubs only managed a deferral which really didn't help.
12.5% of Ozils pay alone is over 43,000, that pays a few wages so why Arsenal have done this is beyond me and I have to say well done to the (still overpaid) players for standing up for the other employees. | |
