Perhaps they should stop the kneeling now. on 01:17 - Aug 25 by Kerouac
The 1st game back, if they kneel, we should all boo.
Then Swansea become they club that “boos the fight against racism” will be the headlines everywhere.
Nobody will care why, nobody will want to hear intelligent discussion regarding it, nobody will print sensible explanation. It will be all leftist sensationalist propaganda. There are a few posters on this site that do similar so professional hacks would have a field day.
That’s what media driven social justice is designed to do, feel that you *have* to comply, regardless of if you agree or not.

If we do nothing they win and lies get perpetuated.
The vast majority of football fans, never mind Swans fans, don't agree with BLM...yet we are all complicit in a big lie if we go along with this and don't register our disapproval.
Things need to change and they won't change without some sort of action.

Ironically by disavowing BLM we would probably be doing far more good for the black community and global race relations than backing it. Although people are just too stupid to realise it.
I agree though, it’s very important that people start speaking up about this destructive, divisive and racist political organisation. Matt LeTissier tried, he said he was not comfortable wearing the BLM badge on SKY and was told on no uncertain terms that he HAD to.
His clear and obvious reasoning which has nothing to do with race appears to be irrelevant to them.

The people trying to impose this nonsense are in the vast minority. All it will take to change is people standing up for what they know to be right.
"Do not be afraid" said somebody wise once.
Their arguments and positions are built on sand. You might enjoy watching this video (An academic called James Lindsey systematically explains why a student who believes in Critical Social Justice theory thinks the way she does and breaks her arguments apart piece by piece)...

Very proud of our Swans for taking the knee.
Well done boys.
BLM.
As others have said, mit can’t go on, surprised you haven’t left this site, but o welcome your discussion, even though we generally don’t agree you make very valid points. As for the knee thing, it’s now a gesture to support terrorism to some, so I'm out out.

We need a new song then, how about "stand up if you hate racism"?

We need a new song then, how about "stand up if you hate racism"?
That should cause some confusion!
Why stop at racism?
Why aren’t we hopping on one leg for feminism after kneeling? Then we can sit down for 30 seconds to prove we don’t like domestic abuse, 10 forward rolls to prove we aren’t transphobic and then finish it off with 5 spins in a row to prove we aren’t homophobic. Got any others you can think of?
Of course failure to comply with those actions mean you are complicit in any and all of the above.
You in? Or do you reckon that’s pretty stupid too?

I'd have no problem at all with shirts bearing the slogans 'Kick it out' or 'Respect', but BLM sticks in the craw with me. Haven't the well-invested football millionaires read the campaign objectives on the BLM UK website about ending capitalism and defunding the police? The web blurb states in terms that BLM will not seek charitable status because it will impede the movement's political work. So much for FIFA's Law 4(5) on political symbols on kit! I won't be attending until the knee silliness ends.

The abuse I have received online and in real life for stating that.
Too many people just don’t see the issue!
Yes, of course black lives matter, there are ways of agreeing with ending racism and we already had slogans in sport!

How many years has BLM set us back in terms of race relations do you think? 20? 30? Has to be up there.
This was sparked by the George Floyd death. An incident the world all agreed was avoidable and wrong. There was a chance there for everyone to come together and look for a solution to poor police de-escalation skills.
Instead they decided to become the most divisive, racist and fascist mass organisation the West has seen in decades. This wasn’t ever about Floyd, or race - it was about power and politics, still is.

But those of us that see it that way are terrible people!
That’s what the loony lefties would have you believe!

That’s the point of social justice.
It’s no coincidence they called themselves Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA(cism). It’s so if anyone disagrees with them they can say “so you don’t think black lives matter?” or “So you aren’t anti-fascism?”.
The majority of people will see their name and side with them. However their actions are the opposite, ANTIFA are incredibly fascist and BLM do absolutely nothing positive for black lives, they are incredibly harmful to black life.
But intentionally named that way to make it harder to socially state you are against them.

Spot on. As I have said before, Black lives only matter when it is white people and cops killing them. Blacks kill more blacks than anyone else.
