Ivan Harrison Hunter, 26, of Boerne, Texas, faces one count of participating in a riot.
In September, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota charged two other men who also described themselves as “Boogaloo Bois” members, one who is from New Brighton, and accused them of attempting to provide material support to the Middle Eastern militant group Hamas during the aftermath of Floyd’s death. A special agent for the FBI wrote in an October 2020 affidavit that a search of Benjamin Ryan Teeter’s Facebook shows photos posted on May 28, 2020, in which Teeter is in the foreground and Ivan Harrison Hunter is wearing glasses in the background. The FBI began an investigation in late May into members of the “Boogaloo Bois” – a loosely-connected group who support violent, anti-government sentiments, according to court documents. The investigation was initiated based on information that members were talking about committing violent crimes and being present on Minneapolis streets while armed during the civil unrest.
Court documents say that between May 27 and May 28, Hunter traveled from Texas to Minneapolis with the intent to participate in a riot.
Investigators found posts on Facebook made by Hunter and Benjamin Ryan Teeter – another Boogaloo Bois member from North Carolina – stating they were planning to go to Minneapolis. Hunter and Teeter communicated with each other as they traveled from their respective states to Minnesota, court documents said.
Hunter also communicated with Michael Solomon, a Boogaloo Bois member from New Brighton. Hunter sent his precise location to Solomon on the evening of May 28, two blocks away from the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct building.
A video taken that night shows a man, identified as Hunter, firing 13 rounds from a semiautomatic rifle into the third precinct, according to court documents.
The shooter then walks toward the camera, high-fives another person and yells, “Justice for Floyd!” He is seen wearing a skull mask covering the lower half of his face, glasses, a baseball cap and tactical gear.
At that time, there were other people believed to be looters still inside the building. Law enforcement found discharged rifle casings consistent with the firearm Hunter used at the scene, the court documents said.
When Hunter returned to Texas, he made several statements on social media about participating in violence in Minneapolis, court documents say. On June 3, Austin police officers initiated a traffic stop on a pick-up truck, in which Hunter was a passenger, for various traffic violations.
Hunter had six loaded magazines for an AK-47-style rifle fastened to a vest he was wearing, court documents said. Officers also found three semi-automatic rifles in the vehicle and two loaded pistols.
Several days after the traffic stop, federal agents became aware of Hunter’s online involvement with Boogaloo Bois member Steven Carrillo, who was charged in the Northern District of California for the May 29 murder of a federal protective service officer in Oakland, Calif, according to the documents.
Hunter was arrested Wednesday in San Antonio and made his first appearance in court Thursday. It was unclear as of Friday afternoon whether Hunter has an attorney."

I really hope people are being shaken out of their stupor. Many African Americans are being brought up to spout this stuff, I’m not even sure if they fully believe it themselves. BLM seem to have dropped the police brutality thing now that it has been proven time and time again to be a myth. It seems to have moved to a pretence of oppression which again nobody can articulate or show.
No doubt once November 3rd comes we won’t hear from them for another 4 years.

This is one of my favourites and absolutely typifies the whole discussion.
Ben Shapiro vs BLM. They flail their hand and laugh, then simply cannot reply as they look at eachother hoping the other is able to respond. As he starts speaking and dropping bombs, you can see their faces drop and their minds thinking “oh crap, I’m expected to reply to this”.
It’s all emotion driven with very little substance, which is why nobody is able to discuss it.

Good to see a black MP of Nigerian descent stand up in Westminster and condem BLM for what it is a political organisation. She also stated the obvious in that no way can we can compare the behaviour of the American police to the British police the majority of whom patrol our streets without guns. She also said it is correct that British history should be taught in our schools without the new anti British agenda. She also pointed out that slavery existed long before the British and that most slave were captured by their fellow blacks. She also thank Britain for giving her family the opportunity to prosper.
