Because it’s not about disliking the content as much as not being able to argue against it.
This forum has very inconvenient truths for those that want to appear virtuous. Usually they do the old trick of calling someone “racist” (even though nothing they have said represents any form of it) which they then feel excuses them from having to have the debate.
However since the forum break people have been allowed the freedom to explain those views and the obvious fact and common sense behind them, meaning these people are now left with little else than frustrated name calling and insults.
It would be the easiest thing in the world to back an opinion you believe has great truth and weight behind it, not as easy when you know the other side makes far more sense than you would like to admit.
