We could see Rodon, Ayew and Grimes gone by the end of the week. No one wants a depleted squad but given the situation across the leagues we may be better off not replacing any of them until January. Get Cooper back from Newport and we would still be a decent outfit.

Would clearly put us on a better financial footing but losing the spine of the team this week would push us, at best, to lower mid-table - not in itself a material issue in these strange times but losing those 3 plus a couple of injuries could turn lower mid-table into a relegation battle.

The club has a recruitment team of some form. If Rodon, Grimes and Ayew go they will have a very busy week and need to crack on. The loan book is already pretty full. Perhaps room for only one more. I presume all the prep work has been done.

A recruitment team of some form in an environment where they've been allowed the opportunity to recruit though

We keep getting told its a buyers market. A sudden influx of cash and the removal of a serious big wage obligtion is a huge opportunity. Liverpool and Man Utd are linked wih two young prospects from Grmsby. The kid from Southend. Two centre backs all become within Swanseas budget. Swansea can do serious damage with £5m in this market.

Id be amazed if we spend anything near £5million on players this week
People were on here losing their heads because Cooper said he didn't want anyone of the current squad to leave after a league one standard winger was sold for a decent amount of money. Now, we're offering up our best player (ayew)

If Grimes goes ..then Morrell at Bristol City might be the move. He is not playing. Keeps the ball.
Likewise Andre, could we get Harry Wilson from Liverpool on loan ? He is not going to play there is he. Worked out for Rhian.
Cooper back for Rodon ? I might prefer Carter-Vickers and/or Ash for experience.
I am sure our recruitment team have all bases covered.
Beware of the Risen People
