Another 10 years of the likes of Drakeford running Wales I’d imagine we will be a similar country to somewhere like Albania.

Hello grandad.

Your Tory mates are at it in England, mind.

This Tory MP is hoping that local businesses supporting the Marcus Rashford drive for free school meals, already rejected by the Tory scum government, should no longer receive govt cash support during covid.

She actively wants the poorest kids to have no food.
rashford has really schooled this hopeless, selfish, ignorant English government.

Welcome to Drakeford's police state shows the contemp labour have for the people of Wales a country led by a party that only managed to get 33% of the vote on turnout of 45% in the last Welsh Assembly elections. Time to rid Wales of these morons forever in the next years elections.

I'm more that happy to be called a grandad so thanks for addressing me in a polite manner (although I suspect that wasn't what you were alluding to ) .Just for the record and try reading it slowly if it at all helps, but I hold all political parties with contempt . I'm guessing that by your profile picture you're 15 and that your view of the world is seen through the prism of the internet. Have a good day

Hi grandad, wrong again.

Holding all political parties is contempt is just a cop out.

Its quite important for law and order, healthcare, social care, education, transport and national security. Maybe even equality for citizens, though i guess thats a step too far for you.

Anyone can stand on the sidelines and throw stones. Cop out.

Actually it's the quality of the decision that boils peoples piss.

I see you're so sure of indy that you're not willing to put your money where your mouth is.

When quoting Nye Bevan maybe you should think about what he may say about today's Labour party. There's not one of todays Labour fit to lace Bevan's shoes.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Don't you dare lecture wales on democracy, when Johnson has a landslide majority due solely to the FPTP system. Just 43% of the votes went to Johnson. Result was a 80 seat majority. Very fair.

Cymru always does better without Westmonster.

I think you will find 43% is 10% more than 33%.That means Labour can rule Wales with only 33% of the vote. It just show how out of touch you are with the electoral system in the UK and Wales.

40 seats in Wales were decided by FPTP labour won 27 of these 40 seats with only 36% of the vote . The other 20 seats were decided by a system of proportional votes Labour got 2 of these seats with only 30% of the vote. This resulted with labour gaining nearly 50% of the seats with only 33% of the votes. In proper proportional vote system labour would only have 20 seats in total. I wonder why Drakeford does not call for a full proportional voting system in Wales?

I will keep reminding you what democracy means. It means respecting the results of referendums, not just the one you like, respecting the wishes of the Welsh people 75% of them wish to remain in the UK. The Welsh people also voted to leave the undemocratic EU.
I doubt any of this will help to change your bigoted views but I am happy to give you benefit of my sound knowledge.

Actually Kilk, the FPTP system favours Tory and Labour alike because they are the two largest party's,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-past-the-post_voting#:~:text=Generally%20FPT

We saw this in action when UKIP got 4 million votes but no seats at Westminster. The SNP got what, 35 was it on far fewer votes. Labour and Tory won 567 seats on 75% of the vote so the other 25% got just 83 seats when 25% of 650 is...162/163. Labours 11 million votes suggests 4 million votes should have got 67 seats.

I have to ask, can you prove Cymru does better without Westminster? What evidence do you have? You seem to state it as fact.

Still not putting your money up? Come on mun, we'll have forgotten in 10 years anyway and we might neither of us be here anyway!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?
