I went to see him numerous times with his band the Short List when I lived in London.

Another from the same period was the Strawbs, they also played fairly regularly.

A band I'd totally forgotten about until reading up about Judy Dyble, the original Fairport Convention singer who dies last year. One of the last projects she was involved in was a collaboration with amongst others Julianne Regan of All About Eve.

I remember Martha's Harbour by AAE, believe the ex took the album when we divvied up our record collection on parting.
