Covid and people breaking the rules 08:14 - Oct 31 with 2168 viewsowainglyndwr

With talk now of England going into a month long lock down from Monday or possibly sometime next week.
Here back at home we have people with Covid still out sopping, and just in the short space of time I called to buy lunch at Greggs Llanelli yesterday 3 people walked in with no masks.
2 together putting the numbers to 4 in the shope instead of 3 has stated at the door.
The 2 were steroid heads who must of thought they are above it all.
I wanted to say something to them but this could of put my 2 younger work mates in danger.

What about those who refuse to wear them a la Piers Corbyn. Plenty around.

It is a real problem.

It really IS being spread around.

These are exceptional times,a war in real terms. There is never a panacea for all.

It's an awful connundrum ,Mate

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

I agree, it is or can be a problem.

We have to deal with this every day in work, there is no easy answer.

I've said it a million times before, you've just got to hope that people do the right thing.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.
Poll: Would you support military action against Syria on what we know so far?

Not wearing a mask or not complying with the safety regs is the same as drink driving in my book

It is killing more for sure.

Ive dealt with enough drink drivers and been to too many fatal RTCs to be objective.

That said,we are talking 1/2/3/4 maybe 5 deaths in the really bad ones. I dealt with one where 4 had been killed when the lad (18) refused a taxi after working as a barman and took his chums back home only to hit a tree at 50mph.

However, one covid carrier can kill dozens /hundreds even. It is so sickeningly obvious what we all have to do.

My view is quite simple, we need to look at what places like Spain are doing, if people are blatantly refusing to engage and comply, then it’s enforcement and ultimately jail.
