UK Freeport. 08:39 - Nov 16 with 1271 views | felixstowe_jack | The government is about to announce the creation of free ports in the UK. With 7 in England and 1 each in Wales , NI and Scotland. Any ideas on where the Welsh Assembly will locate the Welsh one?

What are the chances of Swansea? Pros and cons etc But of course it will go to SE Wales(Cardiff/Newport/Barry) And the ninkumpoops on here will still vote for Drakeford and his twits.

Actually making Port Talbot a free port is probably the best idea. If the area included the steel works and the port it would reduce the cost of making steel. The current deep water harbour could also be adapted to make several berths for container ships there is also plenty of land to develop around the port and steel works with access to both the M4 and the railway network. This could be a great opportunity for Welsh economy just wonder if Drakeford could grasp the opportunity.
