” Why are British Crown Forces still on the Island of Ireland...?
Because Northern Ireland was created with the express aim of remaining an integral part of the United Kingdom?
And as I said, normal people with normal lives here couldn't care if the North is British, French or a part of the Maldives. They just want peace like the people of anywhere you care to mention.

Peace, certainly, but not at any cost.
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

They are not wanted there. And when they reduce troop numbers then things immediately become more peaceful. You know ... its like its connected.
Google ‘collusion’, another reason for an increased death count of course.
Lets get the rest of the British Crown Forces Out and enjoy the peace. 20 years already.
Force will never win in the north of Ireland. History teaches us that. You always talk to people in the end, so may as well complete the de-militarisation of the north of Ireland pro-actively.
Imagine Johnson showing that sort of leadership. No neither can I.
British forces are in based in the UK. Ni is part of the Uk. The Only people who don't want UK forces in the UK are the Irish Republicans who can carry on murdering fellow Catholics who do not obey their rules and pay protection money.
Until the catholic community get rid of these murderers there will never be true peace. The will of the majority of the people in NI wish to remain part of the UK.
Hope fully more and more people will continue the vote for the one party in NI that is not open to people of all beliefs.

With little editing this could be the USA 2020.
I'm afraid so , but maybe the effect is felt more personally due to the relatively smaller size of population .Good luck with the search for peace its certainly no more than the 99% of the population deserve .

The majority in the north of Ireland would now support a united Ireland.
Brexit has finished any pretence that the made up statelet in the north of Ireland is a country.
Irelands place is in Europe, the whole of Ireland.
The clear path to a free Cymru is through the democratic process.
The problem is,I don't think Dublin wants anything to do with it.
Look at how much money northern Ireland had cost us over the years. For what? Mays government give the Ulster unionist millions just to keep her in power.
Give it back to the Irish and build some hospital s out of the billions we would save

They could say that about Wales too.
Dublin wants little to do with the North and for many of them, being united with the Protestant bigots would not be good.
2 seperate countries,2 seperate mindsets.
Welsh NATS want a united Ireland as it simply sees a country break with England ,a country whose people they detest.
British troops were sent in by a Labour govt to stop catholics being hounded and harrassed by the majority Protestants who held sway over jobs especially. Then it all turned on its head
