Crowds to come back in England? on 16:55 - Nov 23 with 1494 views | hobo | Luton at home 5th Dec. Very unlikely Swansea will be in Tier 3 so either 2k or 4k fans can attend (depending on Tier). Finally!

That's the big question. Wales has been setting it's own rules. It'll be up to the Senedd if crowds are allowed back in. My guess is we'll do something different.

Crowds to come back in England? on 09:36 - Nov 24 with 1160 views | felixstowe_jack | If it is safe for a 1000 to cram inside the tesco extra 4000 in the liberty should not be a problem. That is only 1000 in all four sides. Dithering Drakeford will let us in by the start of next season might cost him lots of votes from Swsnsea, Cardiff Newport Wrexham plus the four rugby regions in the Assembly elections.

As a gesture of goodwill the club should make the first fixture an all pay game with the cash going to local victims of Covid, or support networks for counselling, maybe the players could chip in as well. Would be a lovely gesture. I’ve read so many times the attendances don’t actually make that much impact on finances. So why not ?

In England it is 4,000 in tier 1 and 2,000 in tier 2 and then a maximum of 10% of capacity if it applied to us it would be 2,000 and 1,000.

I've been in the Liberty with crowds of that size for midweek Johnson paint games, absolutely freezing and no atmosphere, like sitting on a park bench watching a game.

Incorrect In Tier 1 a limit of 4000 or 50% of capacity whichever is the fewer In Tier 2 a limit of 2000 or 50% of capacity whichever is the fewer Away fans banned in all circumstances.

I don't get it. 4000 at the ground regardless of size? 4000 at Turf Moor, capacity roughly 21500 compared to Old Traffords 75000 plus? Wouldn't a percentage allowance make more sense, say 25% of capacity?

I don't disagree with you, but I think the money makes little difference to the larger clubs this is far more important to clubs further down the ladder. 20,000 outside Old Trafford would not be easy to social distance. Manchester will probably be in tier 3 anyway.
