Yet another clean sheet for Woodman 14:29 - Mar 13 with 3632 viewsHighjack

That’s now 19 in 35 games. Phenomenal stats.

Yes, it proves how good our defense is, not how well he is playing.

Truth.
Again today ,he was shocking really for a team second in Championship.
The pitiful Woody Love in ignores those responsible which are Bennett,Guehi,Cabango and Ayew -for heading the ball clear- and those who puts their bodies on the line.

It is sickening to see our so called fans accepting this kid is anywhere near enough for us.

Face it, even to yourselves, when the ball comes in,you cr'p yourselves.

Bennett today,immense.

Love those worthy

It shows how well our whole team defends most certainly but Woodman has had an excellent season as well. He was poor in the first half today we could all see that but be did well in that second half albeit with less to do. I’m unsure if he’ll ever make it as a Premier League regular starter but he’s been a big part of this seasons success and good luck to him. 👏

What is the record set by Doris? 26? It’s going to be a tough ask but he might do it.

The side that won promotion with deVries would wipe the floor with this version of Swansea.

Iremmeber Brendan team losing 4 away games on the trot. Outmuscled by Burnley Derby Sheff wed and Hull if I remember correctly. Stan Ternant and Phil Brown were amongst the managers having gotten the better of Brendan on the day.

Wise sage since Toshack era

In your opinion

It’s doubtful but a pointless discussion

By the way if that team was so good you’d have thought it would have challenged for automatic promotion just as the present team is

Another, when Bennett is playing.

We play so much better with Bennett and Naughts at the back. Even with Lauts covering for Guehi we were solid, defensive set-ups were reinstated and executed with a measured calmness and control which we haven't seen since Bennett's been out. Quite the opposite in fact.

The whole team gets a lift, especially Grimes who is visibly lifted without the massive weight of defensive duties atop the massive responsibility of orchestrating from way so deep.

With our best spine intact, won 18 of the last 20 games where we've gone ahead.

It took me a good while to research but in Woodmans 19 clean sheets, De Vries's 26 in 09/10 and Freestones 22 in 99/00, we didn't lose a single one of those games. Amazing stat!

Are we the only club where fans insult others more than they do rival teams.

We win and some simply see it as their first job to slag off the moaners negas or doubters .

It’s more important for some to be right

We are dire to watch, are grinding out results and the other teams aren’t really that good.

We have a great opportunity

He’s been very decent, dodgy period for him every)he has to agree. But he is coming through it, not making mistakes as such from saves etc, distribution today was poor though,

The reality is he's a young keeper in the championship. He's never going to be perfect. It's up and down for every player at this level. When Fabianski was his age he was sitting on the bench for Arsenal with the nickname "Flappy Handski". But he went on to be arguably the best keeper we ever had.

This campaign which has been relentless since the Newport game where the slightest mistake is immediately jumped on and celebrated with glee by a select few is incredibly unfair on the boy. Of course he's going to be shit sometimes. Other times he's been very good. It's why he's not playing every week for Real Madrid or Man City.

A bit of perspective is needed.

Another slam dunk, fair play, different class.

Swept aside the usual twp dissenters today. A pleasure to behold. POTY already

The only reason we kept a clean sheet today is that Luton were shocking in front of goal and coughed up at least three easy opportunities.
I'm not knocking Woodman here but what did he do to merit this level of adulation?
